Instructions:

General information:

• Always follow the instructions for your specific coffee machine.
• If the exact cleaning method is not provided, follow the procedures below.

I. Cleaning coffee residues with URNEX Cafiza 2

1. Add ½ scoop (approx. 5 g) of cleaning powder into a refillable capsule.
2. Close the capsule according to the instructions and place it into the machine.
3. Set the machine to brewing mode (hot water) and run approx. 0.5 L of water (or half of the tank) through.
4. Add 1 full scoop (approx. 10 g) of cleaning powder into a 1 L water container.
5. Place all items to be cleaned (refillable capsules, grid, etc.) into the container.
6. Optionally, pour some of this solution into the waste container of the machine.
7. Leave the solution to work for 10 minutes.
8. Discard the solution and rinse all items thoroughly with clean water.
9. If you do not plan to descale, rinse the coffee machine thoroughly with clean water as described in Procedure II, but without descaling powder.

II. Descaling & final rinse

1. Dissolve descaling powder in 0.5 L of water. Pour into the water tank.
2. Run the entire solution through the coffee machine.
   • Nespresso: Close the chamber without a capsule.
   • Dolce Gusto: Insert an empty refillable capsule.
3. Allow the full solution to pass through the system.
4. Refill the tank with clean water. Run it through completely.
5. Repeat step 4 once more.
6. After cleaning, discard the first coffee you make. Drink only from the second brew.

Safety information on the use of cleaning powder URNEX Cafiza 2:

Keep out of reach of children. Irritating to skin. It causes severe eye irritation. Wash thoroughly after using it.
IF IN CONTACT WITH EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if you wear them and it is possible. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: seek medical advice/care.
IF IN CONTACT WITH SKIN: Wash with the proper amount of soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: seek medical advice/care.

Warranty and how to use the product

Products are covered by the standard statutory warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and financial compensation in cash is not possible. The warranty does not apply to products that have been used in a manner other than that specified in these instructions for use.

The warranty also does not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper use, neglect of care, or any other use for purposes not listed in this manual.
• Damage to appearance, damage caused by corrosion or gradual wear and tear.

Any intervention or repair by unauthorized persons results in the voiding of the product warranty.
