Since the original Nanopresso, the Wacaco range has expanded significantly. In addition to manual coffee makers, it now includes the electric Pixapresso, the MiniPresso GR2 and NS2 models, grinders, digital scales and other coffee-making tools. In 2026, new products Prestina and Exagrind Pro-E were also added.

Wacaco Nanopresso: a universal travel coffee maker

Wacaco Nanopresso is a compact manual espresso coffee maker, suitable for preparing coffee from finely ground coffee . Using a hand pump, it can create a maximum pressure of 18 bars. It is equipped with an overpressure system, which facilitates the preparation of espresso with a pronounced crema.

The standard NanoPresso has an 80 ml water tank and a basket for approximately 8 g of ground coffee. With the Barista kit accessory, you can expand the basket capacity to 16 g and prepare a double espresso.

The coffee maker does not require electricity or batteries. However, it cannot heat the water itself, so it is necessary to have hot water available from a kettle or thermos.

Nanopresso color variants

All color variants of the coffee machine NanoPresso make the same coffee. It is the same type, just in a different color.

Each color variant comes with a fabric case. For the black coffee machine, we offer the option to purchase a hard case for a discounted additional fee.

If you are interested in a colorful coffee maker with a hard case, you need to purchase a hard case in size S separately.

Wacaco Picopresso: for lovers of traditional espresso

The Wacaco PicoPresso was introduced in 2021 as a model designed primarily for users who want more control over their espresso preparation.

Although PicoPresso and NanoPresso look similar at first glance, their construction and usage are significantly different.

Picopresso uses a non-pressurized stainless steel basket with a diameter of 52 mm and a capacity of 18 g of coffee . Thanks to the open portafilter, you can watch the espresso flow directly from the basket into the cup during extraction.

To achieve a good result, it is necessary to correctly adjust the grinding fineness, amount of coffee and pressure. Therefore, a quality grinder with a sufficiently precise setting for espresso is important.

Nanopresso is a practical solution if you want to prepare espresso from ground coffee on the go and possibly also use capsules. Thanks to the overpressure system, it is less demanding to set the grind precisely. PicoPresso offers greater control over extraction. It is especially suitable for those who like to experiment with freshly ground coffee and want to get closer to the method of preparing espresso in a classic lever coffee machine.

Newer accessories for Picopresso

With the expansion of the Wacaco range, accessories have also been added for Picopresso users. They are particularly suitable for those who want to control individual parameters more precisely when preparing espresso.

Picopresso Gauge – pressure gauge for checking extraction

The Wacaco PicoPresso Gauge allows you to monitor pressure while brewing espresso, helping you better understand pumping technique and maintain a more stable pressure during extraction.

The pressure gauge is a useful tool when experimenting with different types of coffee and grinder settings. It is designed exclusively for Picopresso.

Picopresso Stand – stand with mirror

The Picopresso Stand is a detachable stainless steel stand that creates a stable base for preparing espresso.

It includes an adjustable mirror that allows you to view the bottom of the open portafilter during extraction. This makes it easier to observe the flow rate and any uneven extraction.

The stand can be supplemented with a pressure gauge and digital scales, creating a compact set for more precise espresso preparation.

Picopresso 12 g Basket – smaller coffee basket

The standard PicoPresso uses an 18g basket. If you prefer a smaller dose of coffee, you can add a 12g stainless steel basket.

The basket is designed exclusively for PicoPresso and is a practical alternative for preparing a smaller espresso.

Nanopresso accessories: Barista kit for double espresso

The Wacaco Barista kit is an expansion set for the Nanopresso that allows you to prepare a double espresso or a larger portion of coffee .

The Nanopressa's standard basket has a capacity of 8 g of ground coffee. The Barista Kit includes an extension adapter and two larger baskets with a capacity of 16 g . It also includes an enlarged water tank with a capacity of 140 ml instead of the original 80 ml.

The package also includes other accessories: one 8g basket, lids for carrying filled baskets, Tamper for pressing coffee, and a larger espresso cup.

You will especially use the Barista Kit if you prefer a double espresso or prepare milk drinks such as cappuccino or caffè latte.

A practical advantage is the ability to prepare baskets of ground coffee in advance. When you're on the go, you can simply put them in the coffee maker and make an espresso.

Important: Barista kit is designed exclusively for Nanopresso. It is not compatible with PicoPresso or Minipresso models.

Nanopresso Accessories: NS Nespresso® Capsule Adapter

If you prefer ready-made coffee capsules, you can NanoPresso add a Nespresso adapter .

The adapter allows you to use Nespresso® Original capsules and most compatible capsules, eliminating the need to grind, dose or press the coffee separately before brewing.

Capsules are especially practical when traveling or when preparing coffee at work, where you may not have a grinder available.

The NS Adapter is mounted on NanoPresso instead of the standard part designed for making coffee from ground coffee.

Please note capsule compatibility. The adapter is designed for the Nespresso® Original system, not Vertuo. Some non-original capsules may not work properly and the manufacturer explicitly states that capsules with a paper filter membrane are not compatible.

For refillable capsules, we recommend first verifying the compatibility of a specific model.

Nanopresso accessories: DG Kit for Dolce Gusto® capsules

Another option is the Wacaco DG Kit , which expands NanoPresso to include the preparation of drinks from Nescafé Dolce Gusto® capsules.

Thanks to this adapter, you can prepare not only espresso on the go, but also selected milk coffee drinks such as cappuccino, latte or macchiato.

The DG Kit includes its own capsule adapter, holder, enlarged 140 ml water tank and larger cup.

When preparing some drinks, it is necessary to take into account that the volume of water recommended on the capsule packaging may be higher than the capacity of the reservoir. In this case, it will be necessary to top up the water.

The DG Kit is designed exclusively for NanoPresso and cannot be used with other Wacaco models.

Nanopresso accessories: hard travel cases

We recommend using a hard protective case when traveling frequently. The cases Wacaco are made of EVA material, have a soft interior and protect the coffee maker from scratches and common impacts.

Three sizes are available, with the choice depending on the accessories you use.

Size S – Nanopresso itself

The most compact case designed for a standard coffee machine without mounted expansion adapters.

Size M – NanoPresso with adapter

Suitable for coffee machines with an adapter ring from the NS Adapter or barista Kit installed.

Size L – extended set

Designed for NanoPresso with adapter ring from NS Adapter or barista Kit and with enlarged 140 ml water tank.

If you plan to gradually purchase accessories, we recommend that you consider the future configuration when choosing a case.

When carrying the DG Kit or other accessories, please check the dimensions of the specific combination separately.

Other accessories for Nanopresso

A practical addition are also barista microfiber cloths , which you can use to wipe the coffee machine, baskets, and work surface.

The silicone mat will create space for making coffee, help capture any leftover water or ground coffee, and make subsequent cleaning easier.

When traveling, it's also worth considering a suitable thermos with hot water. NanoPresso It doesn't heat the water, so when preparing espresso outside the home, its availability is just as important as the coffee maker itself.

How to combine Wacaco coffee machines and accessories?

The right combination depends primarily on the coffee preparation method you prefer.

If you want a versatile manual coffee maker for both ground coffee and capsules, NanoPresso with the appropriate adapters will allow you to alternate between multiple preparation methods. Barista kit also expands the possibilities to include a double espresso.

If you enjoy experimenting with espresso, you can complement the PicoPresso with the Exagrind Pro-E precision grinder, Exagram PRO digital scale, and PicoPresso Gauge pressure gauge. This setup allows you to better control the amount of coffee, the fineness of the grind, the pressure, and the resulting weight of the drink.

For users who want to make espresso without access to hot water, there is the electric Pixapresso. If you prefer a larger cup of classic coffee, the Wacaco Prestina offers a simple brewing method using steeping and pressing.

When choosing accessories, always check compatibility with the specific model. Nanopresso adapters and baskets are not automatically compatible with Picopresso, Pixapresso or individual Minipresso models.
