FAQ (Timemore Sculptor 078 - electric coffee grinder (black))

FAQ

Can you make a good espresso with the Timemore 078 grinder, or is it really only designed for filter coffee?

Both the manufacturer and reviewers clearly classify the 078 model as a filter coffee grinder and alternative brewing method device – the stepped adjustment does not offer the fine granularity required for espresso. The sister model, the 078S, with its stepless adjustment, is therefore more suitable for espresso; whilst the 078 can technically grind to a finer consistency, fine-tuning it to the precise point of espresso extraction is more challenging.
