Yes, the Robot is all that!! If you are on the fence about buying this - just get it. Such a simple machine that produces amazing espresso and will last for years and years and years.

I created a small issue with the order in that I did not put my apartment number on the order. I sent them an email and they fixed it immediately and shipped out that day.

Also, ship time was extremely fast with DHL - I received two days later to east coast U.S. / nyc!! Amazing!

I’ve been using a La Pavoni Europiccola for nearly ten years. I was tiring of the inconsistent shots, maintenance, and waiting fifteen minutes for the boiler to be ready, and so I took a chance on the Cafelat Robot having heard so many raving reviews. It has absolutely lived up to the hype, and I can safely say that the majority of my shots are perfect. I enjoy the overall process, minimal waste of electricity and water, and cleanup is easy. It’s also tiny and quite portable. If you’re on the fence like I was, just get one - you won’t regret it.

Brew-tally good. Built to last, shot after shot!

Excellent espresso maker, easy to use, simple, relaxed work flow. You literally feel it in your hands and through your pressure on the lever if the coffee is a bit too course, too fine or just right. It's easy to reproduce a good result. It doen't require a lot of strength. For my wife it takes more effort, though she gets with ease good coffee too at 5 or 6 bars. Pre-heating is not necessary, though with lighter roasted coffees you can use the pre-heating plug: fitst fill the basket with hot water and just let it rest under the Cafelat Robot without pressure for 30 seconds. We also ordered 2nd Professional basket + Stainless filter screen and that is usefull though not necessary in the work flow for 2 or more cups. We don't need the Tamper with regulation, the basic tamper is ok.

The Cafelat Robot is pretty compact, solid and joyfull to watch. You can easy lift it with one hand, just holding the top 'head' and it's not that big. So it doesn't require that much space in the kitchen.
