I decided to roast my coffee at home, mainly because I will always drink fresh coffee, but the price difference between green coffee and roasted coffee is not negligible. The first attempts were made on my old popcorn maker, to which I bought a voltage regulator to at least have some control over the temperature. But I quickly realized that in the long term "this is not the way to go" and I started looking for a serious machine. For about two months I read various reviews, watched videos. I clarified what my requirements were - I didn't want to dive too deep into the "Rabbit hole" and spend hours learning temperature curves, RoR and the like. I looked at the most famous entry level roasters like Gene Kaffe, Behmor and even the Chinese Skywalker, but I simply wanted a machine that could make me excellent coffee practically effortlessly, even without my knowledge, is nimble and easily portable, has a strong community and reliability. Only the Kaffelogic Nano 7e met all these important attributes for me. I struggled a little internally with the higher initial price of the machine, but I don't regret it, because I know that I bought a top-notch machine that I won't get tired of even after years. It arrived excellently and safely packaged. After unpacking, I immediately plugged it into my PC, where I had already downloaded the Kaffelogic app, it installed the latest firmware on its own and started roasting. I used beans from the Dominican Republic, I mostly drink filter coffee, so I chose the appropriate roasting profile and pressed play. The machine did everything for me, including cooling. I just poured the roasted and cooled beans into a bowl. I let it sit for 4 days and then used a filter. I have to say that the result was better than expected. And here the power of this stand was shown, I realized that I am not only buying hardware here but mainly software, I went to the kaffelogic website and downloaded about 50 more profiles. And slowly every day someone adds a new one. Professionals add there, but also ordinary users who have fine-tuned their profile to perfection through many attempts. I just download it and the stand makes it according to the curve with perfect advantage thanks to sophisticated PID technology. It gives huge, almost endless possibilities to discover different coffee flavors. And whoever wants to, can play with it and create their own profile. If they find their "sweet spot" for a given coffee, then they can repeat it at any time.

The product is really fun! It's made me want to experiment with lots of new coffees.
