Excellent, if you want to savour a coffee, this gadget should not be missing from your arsenal! I'm very happy with my purchase, especially as the materials are getting better and better, I would have preferred the lid of the water compartment to be made of aluminium, especially the thread that wears over time.

I ordered a Wacaco Picopresso from this website and I would like to say that I do not regret for a single moment that I chose to order from your website and that is because:
-first of all this site offers this Wacaco Picopresso at the LOWEST PRICE ON THE MARKET
-Secondly, because in this, THE LOWEST PRICE ON THE MARKET (I have written in capital letters so that people see and know this), they also gave me a leather pouch as a gift, without paying anything extra.
-thirdly and most importantly because, following a manufacturing error in the 2 lids (the one through which the espresso drains and the protective cover of the Wacaco Picopresso device), the two lids did not match, and after sending an e-mail which was read very quickly by the people on this site, they offered to send me two other lids FREE of charge, without even paying for their transport

I just bought my Picopresso from EKOcapsule 2 years ago, I use it daily, I am very satisfied with it. I use it with a Kingrinder grinder, with care it is consistent and makes very tasty coffee. With daily coffee drinking, it is worth descaling every 2 months max, the seal under the pump will give itself every 8-10 months, which can be ordered from the manufacturer for 1 USD. It is assembled with quality parts and has not required any other maintenance.

I got such a machine because I didn't want to worry about the maintenance of an espresso machine (gaggia classic+mod) and honestly I made a great choice. I think for someone who doesn't make espresso every day it's great(I do more on dripper). Great flavour if you get the "grind size" right and a proper tamp. I still think you need to invest in a puck screen and maybe that straight walled basket from IMS.

If you have the patience and time, the espresso from this crumb tastes incredible. With any coffee, it takes a bit of experimentation (coarseness of grind, grammage...), but once you fine tune it, it tastes even better than some coffee shops. The feeling when, after a few failed attempts, you actually manage to make THAT espresso is priceless.

Given that there is an option to upgrade some of the components for the picopresso (basket, buying a puck screen, kitchen stand,...), it's probably the cheapest option to get a handheld machine for real espresso at home.

Portability is debatable. Don't get me wrong, the design is perfect for portability. Everything can be packed into the coffee maker itself. However, you still have to bring that coffee (ideally in the bean), a grinder, a scale doesn't hurt, and then you have to figure out how to boil your water. Then you need to wash the components well after each use. This stuff then all gets swept up and takes up space in your backpack. In the outdoors it can be a bit of a nuisance, but in the kitchen it's perfect.

Incredible expresso quality result. Not complex to use. It just requires accuracy in the process to keep the shots consistent. Allows to play with different parameters. Top quality, including the packaging which is great. Not suitable for people who want to prepare many expressos in a raw or per day. But for 1 or 2 per day, this equipment is just great by its performance, expresso are just really amazing with it, it's affordable, compact and fun to use. I use it by adding a "Puck screen PremiumLine" on top of the coffee bed, to even improve the water distribution. You can make really great espressos already after a few trials. Smooth, balanced, super crema, and velvet in the mouth. A must is to have a top quality coffee bean grinder with it, to grind coffee last minute, have the espresso full and fresh. I own a Comandante manual grinder for the moment. Requires efforts to grind the coffee fine, but 1 shot a day is manageable, also for 18g. I have not tried this equipment and on the go. I only use it in my kitchen. This avoids having a place-taking expresso machine which would not necessarily give better results, unless investing a lot of money. Picopresso is for me really a great product for those who want to dive into the espresso world, allowing really great espresso shots while not spending a huge amount. I love it.
