The 58 mm bottomless lever 4Barista for La Marzocco is a practical tool for both home and professional baristas who want to keep a visual check on their espresso extraction. It is designed for La Marzocco machines with a 58 mm group head and a corresponding double-ear mount.

Thanks to its bottomless design – also known as a bottomless portafilter or naked portafilter – the bottom of the portafilter basket remains completely exposed. This allows you to observe, during brewing, how the espresso comes together into a single, even flow, and to quickly identify any errors in the coffee puck preparation.

The bottomless portafilter is particularly useful for detecting uneven coffee distribution, incorrect tamping, inappropriate grind size or channeling. It is therefore suitable not only for everyday espresso preparation but also for honing barista skills.

The portafilter body is made of stainless steel, which provides the necessary strength, stability and a long service life. The glossy black portafilter handle allows for a comfortable grip when dosing, tamping and inserting the lever into the coffee machine’s group head.

The pack also includes a stainless steel basket for a double dose of espresso.

The lever is designed for La Marzocco coffee machines with a 58 mm group head and a compatible double-ear mounting, specifically:

• La Marzocco Linea Mini, La Marzocco Linea Micra, La Marzocco GS3
• selected professional La Marzocco coffee machines with the same type of mounting

Not compatible with:

• coffee machines with an E61-type group head
• Sage/Breville Dual Boiler and Oracle
• Gaggia Classic
• coffee machines with a different arrangement or shape of the locking lugs

Although the coffee machines listed may use 58 mm diameter portafilter baskets, the lever mounting itself is different. This is not an original La Marzocco part. It is a compatible accessory from 4Barista.
