The Flair standard etched dispersion screen is an ultra-thin stainless steel screen designed to ensure even distribution of water directly onto the surface of the coffee pod.

Unlike the classic version, which is placed on the portafilter, the etched version is placed directly on the coffee grounds. This results in better water dispersion, protection of the coffee surface, and a more stable extraction process without unwanted channeling.
