It works better than expected. Useful with lighter roasted coffee when you want a higher temperature of the robot and the basket, otherwise for us not necessary. How to use: simply put it in the basket, add hot water and let it rest it under the Cafelat Robot for 30 seconds (with no pressure, just let it rest). Than remove the water, remove pre-heating plug (easy with two fingers) and continue to make coffee.

Makes preheating the portafilter much easier. You need to use portafilter spout, preheats the portafilter but not of course the spout.

If you do it according to the manufacturer's instructions - put the stopper on the bottom of the poltafilter, pour boiling water, plug it into the robot and lower the arms slightly - often all the water can pour out the bottom. The tightness is random.
On the other hand, placing the stopper on top of the whipped coffee and pouring boiling water will ensure tightness, but seems unhygienic and there is a risk of scalding.
The cork acts unpredictably.

Jeśli robić to zgodnie ze wskazówkami producenta - kładziemy korek na dnie poltafiltra, zalewamy wrzątkiem, podpinamy do robota i lekko opuszczamy ramiona, to często cała woda potrafi wylecieć dołem. Szczelność jest losowa.
Natomiast umieszczanie korka na ubitej kawie i zalanie wrzątkiem zapewni szczelność, ale wydaje się być mało higieniczne i jest ryzyko poparzeniem.
Korek działa nieprzewidywalnie.

I pour in the coffee, put on the filter paper and put the brewing cap on top. I pour in the boiling water, remove the silicone stopper after 15 seconds and insert the hot strainer. Only then do I pour boiling water over the basket and press. It is also good to preheat the plunger.

Sypię kawęm ubijam, zakładam bibułkę filtr i na to korek zaparzacza. Leję wrzątek, po 15 s wyjmuję ten silikonowy korek i wkładam gorące sitko. Dopiero wtedy zalewam kosz wrzątkiem i tłoczę. Tłok też dobrze jest wstępnie rozgrzać.

Simple accessories. I haven't needed it yet as the robot keeps the temperature very well.

Einfaches Zubehör. Habe ich bisher noch nicht gebraucht, da der Robot die Temperatur sehr gut hält.

1st purchase at Cafebarista.fr. Delivery of the entire order within 8 working days. The item is robust like all the products for the Cafelat Robot. I recommend this brand (owner of an ECM Classika). The Robot makes factually better espresso.... without preheating!

Preheating the sieve and piston makes for better espresso.
Without the stopper it is not possible to preheat the piston unless you lay the machine down and pour it from a kettle.
I consider this stopper to be absolutely essential.

Wstępne podgrzanie sita oraz tłoka pozwala uzyskać lepsze espresso.
Bez korka nie jest możliwe podgrzanie tłoka chyba, że położysz ekspres i będziesz go polewał z czajnika.
Uważam ten korek za absolutnie niezbędny.

Absolutely tight and therefore ideal for preheating the portafilter! But I don't preheat every time, that's not absolutely necessary - only if I try something out.

Absolut dicht und damit hervorragend zum Vorheizen des Siebträgers geeignet ! Ich heize aber nicht jedes Mal vor, das ist nicht unbedingt notwendig - nur wenn ich mal was ausprobiere.
