I also use plastic capsules, which are incomparably cheaper, serve just as well, but I don't know how long they will last.

The capsule is OK. It works as it should. I've only had it for a short time but I'm happy with it.

I bought these stainless steel capsules because there are hardly any ready-made capsules left in our region. And I love drinking latte macchiato, so this is the best alternative for me. I can grind my own beans at any time, froth the milk and make my own latte. Sure, it's a bit more time-consuming, but it's also fun to grind the beans beforehand, squeeze everything into the capsule and off you go!!!

+ At first I was quite suspicious but after the first use of these ECO capsules I am thrilled. The coffee is more intense than the original capsules. The extra moment in preparation is really worth it. Washing is quick. The best coffee is if you use a full scoop. I guess the grind will be important too. I bought already ground BIO Peru coffee from DM and it is ground just right. So I'm thinking about a grinder to try other coffees.

- when you insert the pod into the coffee maker, the top rotates a little and it is more difficult to adjust the centre dot accurately

I am relatively satisfied with the product. It is important to properly rotate the cap and the capsule some DG devices may have a bent "needle" due to wear or manufacturing I recommend you practice putting the needle to the cap before you put the coffee so as to avoid damaging any component.The manufacturer does not indicate the lifetime,nor the certification of the silicone cap for safety,toxicity,which may discourage the discerning customer.In a way it helps to fulfill the enviro ambition of reducing plastic waste,it is a good choice for those who want and have an unfulfilled need for a choice of coffee,Dolce Gusto.

the product is OK and quality maybe for one person ok but I do not believe that for 2 coffees someone will refill this capsule repeatedly. it is very laborious and impractical, the capsule is hot. The whole procedure is to put the capsule in something, insert the paper, fill the coffee, close it, put it in the coffee maker, make the coffee, clean it (it is hot), dry it (otherwise the paper gets stuck on the edge), insert the paper, coffee, brew, brew again, insert again (otherwise you will break the needle), make coffee, rinse the capsule again and leave it somewhere to dry, clean up the mess. The capsule is good quality but the whole Dolce Gusto is stupidity and with the price of capsules you will overpay for a normal coffee machine within half a year. I won this crap (Dolce Gusto) in a raffle and my wife really wanted to try it. In 10 days we spent about 40 euros on capsules and 30 euros on this refillable capsule. We probably would have saved money if we went to a cafe :D

I don't recommend it, I used to use a plastic capsule which had a built-in filter and the coffee preparation took incomparably shorter than now when you have to insert a filter (which of course you will have to buy). In addition, through the filter, the waste from the coffee went into my cup which did not happen with the plastic one. For the price, definitely not.
