The coffee maker includes a Smart Shot basket designed for beginners. It can make a crema-rich espresso even with coarse-ground supermarket coffee.

The ROK Presso Smartshot comes with a portafilter with a wooden handle. It is also compatible with the naked portafilter which gives home baristas the opportunity to experiment with freshly ground coffee.
