Instructions for use

Warning

Read these instructions carefully before using the Pipamoka coffee maker for the first time. This will prevent the risk of injury to health and damage to the appliance.

  • Do not use the coffee maker for any purpose other than that for which it was intended.
  • Keep packaging material (plastic bag, etc.) out of the reach of children, as they can be a potential source of danger.
  • Do not let children use or play with the coffee maker.
  • Do not place the coffee maker on a gas or electric hot plate, in an oven, microwave or dishwasher.
  • Never heat water directly in the water tank of the coffee maker. The water must be boiled using an external appliance such as a kettle and then poured into the water tank.
  • Clean the coffee maker carefully and regularly after each use.
  • Use soft water to prevent limescale deposits.
  • If you are burned, immediately use cold water to cool the burned area and contact a doctor if necessary.
  • Do not pull the inner chamber from the mug by hand when it contains liquid. Instead, screw the chamber on.
  • Do not pour more water into the coffee maker than specified.
  • The lid is not thermally insulated and may be hot.
  • Designed to use two teaspoons of ground coffee (2x8g). Do not press the coffee.

Safety

Pipamoka meets all safety standards for use in contact with food. Pipamoka is 100% BPA-free.

Environmental protection

All packaging parts of Pipamoka are made of recyclable materials.

Disposal

The coffee maker has been made of high-quality materials that can be reused or recycled. After use, hand in the coffee maker to the appropriate waste collection point.

How to make American coffee?

See the English illustrated instructions included in the coffee maker package.
Ingredients: 2 teaspoons (16g) of medium ground coffee, 260 ml of hot water

  1. Unscrew the lid.
  2. Remove the components from the inside of the coffee maker.
  3. Remove the filter basket.
  4. Remove the filter basket lid.
  5. Place the coffee funnel on the filter basket.
  6. Add two teaspoons of coffee to the filter basket.
  7. Close the filter basket with the lid.
  8. Fill with hot water to the beginning of the line, which corresponds to 1 cup.
  9. Drop the filter basket with coffee into the water chamber. BEWARE OF BURN!
  10. Let the filter basket fall to the bottom, it takes about 40 seconds.
  11. Gently tap the coffee maker against the base to release air bubbles.
  12. Close the water chamber with the lid.
  13. Gradually screw the orange ring to extract the coffee. BEWARE OF BURN!
  14. When you have unscrewed the entire chamber, put it aside. BEWARE OF BURN!
  15. Screw the lid on the coffee maker and enjoy hot coffee for hours.

How to make a Latte?

Ingredients: 2 teaspoons (16g) medium ground coffee, 80 ml hot water, 180 ml hot frothed milk

  1. Repeat steps 1 - 7 from the instructions for American coffee.
  2. Pour hot water to the beginning of the line, which corresponds to ¼ cup.
  3. Repeat steps 9-14 from the American coffee instructions.
  4. Top up with whipped milk and enjoy.

How to make Cold brew?

Ingredients: 2 teaspoons (16g) medium ground coffee, 200 ml cold water, ice cubes.

  1. Repeat steps 1-7 from the American coffee instructions.
  2. Drop the coffee basket into the pre-screwed water chamber.
  3. Place the chamber on top of the coffee maker.
  4. Fill the chamber ¾ full with cold water and add ice cubes. Wait 1-2 hours for the process to complete.
  5. Remove the water tank. Screw on the lid and enjoy.

Tips for best results

  • Use filtered water and freshly ground coffee.
  • Grind the coffee beans immediately before making your coffee, preferably in a grinder with ceramic grinding stones.
  • When making coffee, screw slowly, about ¼ turn per second, and make sure that all the water has flowed through the filter.

Warranty and how to use the product

Products are covered by the standard statutory warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and financial compensation in cash is not possible. The warranty does not apply to products that have been used in a manner other than that specified in these instructions for use.

The warranty also does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from improper use, neglect of care, or any other use for purposes not listed in this manual.
  • Damage to appearance, damage caused by corrosion or gradual wear and tear.

Any intervention or repair by unauthorized persons results in the voiding of the product warranty.
