The DF54 is a compact electric grinder featuring flat burr and a single-dose system. It belongs to the manufacturer's DF64 range and is a more affordable, space-saving alternative to the DF64 Gen 2 model. It is primarily intended for home baristas who weigh a separate dose of coffee before each preparation and do not want to leave the beans in the classic hopper for long.

The grinder is equipped with 54 mm flat stainless steel burrs and stepless grind size adjustment. Its wide adjustment range makes it suitable for both espresso and filter coffee. Its main advantages include very low retention, an antistatic plasma generator, a compact aluminium body, and easy cleaning without the need for tools.

  • 54mm flat burrs - sflat burrs are made of stainless steel and are designed to produce evenly ground coffee with minimal lump formation.

  • Plasma anti-static system - an ioniser located in the outlet channel that helps neutralise static electricity. This means that ground coffee is less likely to stick to the outlet, resulting in less mess when dispensing.
  • Anti-popcorn system - an integrated cover that limits the bouncing of beans in the hopper. This allows the beans to move more smoothly to the grinding stones.
  • Stable grinding chamber - the upper grinding stone carrier is mounted at three points and supplemented with a wave spring. This solution helps keep the grinding stones stable during grinding.
  • 58 mm dosing cup - the package includes a transparent, food-grade plastic cup. Its diameter corresponds to the standard size of 58 mm portafilters, enabling ground coffee to be easily poured into the basket.
  • Capacity up to 50 g -  when using the silicone bellows; without the bellows, the hopper is designed for approximately 20 g of coffee beans.
  • Compact design -  the narrow body takes up minimal space on the countertop and is tall enough to fit under most kitchen cabinets.
  • Easy cleaning - the grinding chamber can be opened in a few steps without using tools, which makes regular maintenance of the grinder easier.
  • Silicone bellows - allow you to push out any remaining coffee particles from the grinding chamber and outlet channel by pressing the hopper after grinding is complete.
