The Subminimal digital contactless thermometer is a small and handy tool for measuring the ideal milk temperature for frothing.

It is a great addition to the FlowTip milk frothing jugs. You can check the temperature of your milk without having to insert a thermometer or probe.

Features of the Subminimal contactless thermometer:

Measures surface temperature - An infrared thermometer measures the surface, not the internal temperature of food, liquids or materials. Therefore, swirl your milk before measuring. This will give you the most accurate reading.

Beware of invisible vapour - Infrared thermometers can be temporarily affected by frost, humidity, dust, fog, smoke or other particles in the air. Steam can condense on the thermometer and affect the accuracy of the reading.

Infrared thermometers cannot see through glass, liquids or other transparent surfaces, they measure the temperature of the first point of contact .

Infrared thermometers measure using a beam , so make sure it is properly directed at the surface being measured and does not reflect off other materials, such as the walls of a jug or pot.

This thermometer is not designed to measure body temperature. Only a medical thermometer should be used for this purpose.
