Description

The Wacaco Exagrind Pro-E is a manual coffee grinder designed for fine and precise espresso grind adjustments. It features 38 mm conical stainless steel burrs and an external adjustment ring that displays the selected grind size. With 207 adjustment positions and a step size of around 14.5 microns, you can gradually fine-tune the grind according to the coffee and preparation method used.

Although optimised for espresso, the Exagrind Pro-E's grind adjustment range also allows you to grind coffee for a moka pot, filter coffee, or a French press. Its compact body, removable handle and included travel case make it a practical companion at home and on the go. It complements Wacaco's range of portable coffee makers particularly well, including the Picopresso, NanoPresso and Minipresso models.

Key features of the coffee grinder Wacaco Exagrind Pro-E

  • Fine adjustment suitable for espresso – the grinder offers 207 adjustment positions across three rotations of the adjustment ring. Each step changes the distance between the burrs by approximately 14.5 microns, helping you fine-tune your espresso grind gradually.
  • External adjustment ring – the grind size is adjusted using the visible ring on the grinder body. You can easily note your chosen setting and return to it for your next brew or after switching brewing methods.
  • 38 mm conical burrs – the burrs are made from 420 stainless steel. According to the manufacturer, their geometry is optimized for espresso while also allowing grinding for other brewing methods.
  • Stable burr support – the fixed outer burr and central shaft with dual bearings help maintain stable burr alignment during grinding.
  • Wide grind range – as well as a fine grind for espresso, you can also perform a coarser grind size adjustment for a moka pot, pour-over, French press or cold brew. This makes it ideal if you alternate between several different coffee brewing methods.
  • Capacity of up to 24 g of coffee – the hopper holds a maximum of 24 g of coffee beans, which is sufficient for a standard espresso shot as well as for making a single cup of filter coffee.
  • Aluminium housing and comfortable grip – the machined aluminium housing is complemented by an integrated silicone grip, which helps you hold the grinder securely whilst grinding.
  • Practical handle storage – the removable handle can be stored along the body of the grinder when carrying it. The handle also serves as a cover for the hopper and attaches magnetically to the top of the grinder when stored.
  • Suitable for Wacaco portable coffee makers – the Exagrind Pro-E is a suitable accessory for the Picopresso, Minipresso, NanoPresso and Pixapresso coffee makers. The ground coffee container is shaped to allow the coffee to be poured into the Minipresso GR2 and Pixapresso filters without a dosing funnel.

The Wacaco Exagrind Pro-E is suitable for users looking for a compact manual grinder with a focus on precise grind adjustment for espresso. Its main advantage is the clearly readable external adjustment ring with fine increments, which makes fine-tuning and returning to a favorite setting easier.
