The Fellow Aiden Precision Coffee Maker is an automatic filter coffee maker that combines the precision of manual pour-over brewing with the convenience of an automated brewer. Throughout the brew, it controls water temperature, timing, and flow rate, allowing it to manage individual stages of extraction in a way that closely resembles manual pouring. It is designed for coffee drinkers who want consistent results from high-quality beans without having to manage every step of the brewing process themselves.

Aiden can brew anything from a single serving to a full 1.5 L carafe. It uses two separate filter baskets and adjusts water distribution to suit different brew volumes. Features include built-in and custom Brew Profiles, precise temperature control, bloom and pulse control, a full-colour LCD display, and connectivity with the Fellow app. The system also includes a double-wall thermal carafe and a dedicated cold brew profile.

  • Automated pour-over-style brewing – Aiden automatically manages temperature, timing, and water flow throughout the different stages of extraction.
  • From a single serving to 1.5 L – two dedicated filter baskets optimise brewing for both individual servings and larger batches.
  • Dual water-distribution system – the adjustable showerhead changes its coverage of the coffee bed depending on whether you are brewing a single serving or a full carafe.
  • Precise temperature control – hot brewing temperatures can be set between 50 and 99°C, including different temperatures for individual stages of a recipe.
  • Bloom and pulse control – the bloom phase and subsequent water pulses can be adjusted separately, providing considerably more control over extraction than a conventional drip coffee maker.

 

  • Brew Profiles – you can use the built-in profiles based on roast level, recipes from roasters, or create your own profiles with temperature settings, brew ratio, bloom, and pulses.
  • Colour LCD display – the display guides the user through the settings, the selection of Brew Profiles and the individual stages of preparation.
  • Fellow app – via the app for iOS and Android, you can manage Brew Profiles, schedule brews, receive notifications and keep the coffee machine up to date. Aiden can also be used without the app.
  • Cold brew profile – this mode combines hot bloom with subsequent brewing using cooler water – using the relevant profile, this takes approximately 90 minutes.
  • Double-walled thermal carafe – helps keep brewed coffee warm without the negative impact of prolonged overheating on its flavour.
  • SCA Certified – Aiden meets the Specialty Coffee Association’s certification requirements for the quality of filter coffee preparation.

The Fellow Aiden is ideal for filter and pour-over coffee lovers who want a high degree of control over their recipe without having to prepare each batch by hand. Its main advantages are precise parameter control, the ability to brew single servings or whole carafes, and the option to save your own brew profiles.
