Description

The Timemore x Millab M01 is a manual coffee grinder designed for home baristas who want to enjoy freshly ground coffee when making espresso, Moka pots, filter coffee, or French press coffee. At its heart are 44 mm conical pineapple burrs with an extended geometry that divides the grinding process into five stages. This design minimises irregular bean breakage and promotes a more uniform grind. Its robust construction is complemented by a sophisticated design that won the Good Design Award.

The external adjustment ring has a fine 12.5 μm increment, allowing you to conveniently fine-tune the grind size according to the coffee and recipe selected, without having to remove the catch cup. The container is secured to the body using the Snap-to-Lock rotary lock, allowing you to quickly and easily secure it with a simple twist. Thanks to its sturdy construction and weight of approximately 1.1 kg, the M01 is particularly well-suited to regular home use, where you will appreciate its precise settings, practical handling, and wide grind range.

  • 44 mm conical burrs – a distinctive feature of this grinder is its burrs with an elongated geometry and a five-stage grinding path. The beans are processed gradually, which is intended to minimise irregular breakage and promote a more uniform particle size.
  • Hardened SUS420 stainless steel – the burrs are made from steel with a hardness of 58 HRC and machined using five-axis CNC machining. 
  • External grind size adjustment – the adjustment ring is accessible from the outside, so you do not need to remove the catch cup when changing the setting. The mechanism, inspired by the controls on photographic lenses, combines five metal components and allows you to switch conveniently between settings for different preparation methods.
  • Fine adjustment increment of 12.5 μm – each click corresponds to a movement of the mechanism by 0.0125 mm. These small increments allow you to fine-tune the grind adjustment when changing coffee varieties.
  • Precision P7 bearings – ensure stable guidance of the shaft and burrs.
  • Versatile use from espresso to French press – the adjustment range covers espresso, moka pot, Pour-over and French press. 
  • 35 g bean hopper – its capacity allows you to grind a coffee dose for an espresso or a larger portion of filter coffee without having to refill it. 
  • Catch cup with Snap to Lock system – the catch cup is secured with a quick twist, whilst the rotating lock holds it firmly in place. The threadless, magnet-free attachment makes it easy to remove and reattach during daily use.
  • Catch cup capacity up to 50 g – the container provides ample space to collect ground coffee even when the hopper capacity is full. Once removed, you can use it to transfer coffee into a filter or other accessories.
  • Sturdy construction weighing approximately 1.1 kg – the body is made from aluminium alloy and stainless steel, which give the hand grinder strength for manual grinding. The M01 is particularly suitable for users who prefer a solid build for regular home use.
  • Silicone non-slip base – helps keep the coffee grinder stable when placed on a work surface. It is practical both when filling the coffee grinder and between the various stages of coffee preparation.
  • Design recognised with the Good Design Award – the M01 has won an international award for industrial design.
